The NYS Department Of Economic Development is seeking an Associate Agency Services Analyst. Under the general direction of the Minority and Women’s Business Enterprise (MWBE) Compliance Officer, the incumbent supervises subordinate analysts in monitoring and enforcing agency compliance with the provisions of New York State Executive Law, Article 15-A and related rules and regulations concerning the utilization of MWBEs on state contracts. NYC Compliance Attorney (In-House, Permanent Hire)

Bliss Lawyers is seeking a compliance attorney to work in-house for a large asset manager in New York City.  The qualified candidate will have at least three years of experience in a compliance-oriented role, preferably at a private equity firm or hedge fund, with substantial knowledge of relevant rules and regulations and the day-to-day compliance affairs of private funds.  The qualified candidate will specifically have experience with compliance testing including 206(4)-7 reviews, audit background, etc.  Marketing review and policy drafting is a plus but not required.  This is a full-time, permanent position that will start as soon as an appropriate candidate is identified.

NJ Corporate Paralegal (In-House, Temporary)

Bliss Lawyers is seeking a corporate paralegal to work in the northern New Jersey office of a global wealth management firm. The qualified candidate will have at least eight years of experience as a corporate paralegal. A paralegal certification is required. Prior in-house experience is preferred.  The selected candidate will support the legal department of the firm with respect to traditional corporate secretary functions such as assisting in the maintenance of corporate books and records; overseeing corporate record retention; and cataloging and administering the annual approval process for corporate policies and procedures.  Candidates must be highly organized, detail-oriented, able to meet deadlines, and a flexible team player eager to take on new responsibilities. The Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center of Touro College, located in Suffolk County, Long Island, New York invites applications for a Visiting Professor and Director of the Family Law Clinic for the Fall 2016 semester. This position will involve helping to lead a tenants’ rights initiative in East Harlem and Inwood, joining a new and exciting expansion of Legal Services NYC advocacy focused on supporting communities facing rapid displacement. Legal Services NYC – Bronx is seeking a staff attorney to work in our Housing Unit. The attorneys will be expected to litigate cases in housing court, administrative forums, and other state and federal courts on behalf of people facing eviction, and in affirmative cases challenging agencies and actors who threaten Bronx residents’ ability to obtain and retain affordable housing. The work will involve developing expertise in housing court practice, housing programs and subsidies, and public benefits.

The attorneys will be expected to perform community outreach and provide legal information, advice, and counsel, both in clinical and informal settings. The attorneys will also be expected to perform trainings to other advocates, tenant associations, community members, and community groups. LUKOIL Pan Americas is looking for someone with 3-5 years of corporate transactional experience (energy, trading, energy commodities or otherwise), and in-house experience is a huge plus, but not necessarily required), a New York law license, and a Texas law license (if the position ends up being based in our Houston office).  This position will manage our two existing Contract Administrators at LPA and will report to the US and functionally to LITASCO’s Head of Contract Desk in Geneva.
