This year’s Awards Dinner is billed to be incredibly special as the NLA will have the privilege of hosting former President and Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, GCFR, BNER, GCON, who will be serving as our keynote speaker this year.

President Jonathan will be joining a long list of Nigerian dignitaries who have graced the NLA Merit Awards, including  Professor Wole Soyinka, a 1986 Noble Laureate in Literature, and world-renowned writer, poet and playwright; Professor Chinua Achebe, world-renowned writer and author of the award winning novel, “Things Fall Apart”; and Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, former World Bank Managing Director and former Nigerian Minister of Finance.

The NLA would like to give a special thanks to this year’s Dinner Committee – Abayomi Ajaiyeoba, Chisom Ananaba,
