NLA Welcomes Its 2018-2019 Executives and Board Members
New NLA Leadership Installed!
An installation ceremony was held on March 22, 2018 at the Nigerian Embassy in Manhattan, NY for the incoming officers of the Nigerian Lawyers Association.
The incoming Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Public Relations Officer were sworn in by the Honorable Adetokunbo Fasanya, Queens County Family Court Judge.

NLA’s incoming President and Board of Directors were sworn in by New York City Public Advocate, Letitia James.

Incoming President Olugbemi “Bemi” Aregbbesola gave a wonderful address, highlighting her vision for “unity” as the theme for the incoming administration, “Let’s not be the single stick that smokes, let us band together and start a fire that burns bright and hot for generations to come.”
The ceremony was well attended, and the guest list included numerous judges and foreign dignitaries.
